(OPINION) ETH – The Girl Scouts of America recently deleted a social media post that was congratulating Justice Amy Barrett on her recent appointment to the Supreme Court. Why did they delete the post?
Apparently, it sparked outrage among many. One, in general, was Ayanna Pressley who is the congresswoman from Massachusetts that was especially enraged – wondering what sort of merit badge does a scout earn for uplifting a woman who is the antithesis of justice.
Earlier today, we shared a post highlighting the five women who have been appointed to the Supreme Court. It was quickly viewed as a political and partisan statement which was not our intent and we have removed the post.

The Girl Scouts quickly went to their Social media posted that the Girl Scouts were not political nor were they partisan. Needless to say, this group quickly learned about being “Politically Correct”.
