(ETH) – Agents have reportedly foiled a plot to kidnap Michigan Democratic Governor. Gretchen Whitmer, according to authorities on Thursday. According to the Associated Press, The alleged plot involved months of planning and even rehearsals to kidnap her from her vacation home.

The report stated that six men have been charged in federal court with conspiring to kidnap the governor in reaction to what they viewed as her “uncontrolled power,” according to a federal complaint. Seven others have been linked to what the Main Stream Media is calling a “Right Wing” extremist group called the “Wolverine Watchmen” that has been charged in state court for allegedly seeking to storm the Michigan Capitol and seek a “civil war.”

The report from AP went into detail on how the two groups reportedly trained together and planned “various acts of violence,” according to the state police and that surveillance for the kidnapping plot took place back in August and September, according to an FBI affidavit.

Four of these men had planned to meet on Wednesday to “make a payment on explosives and exchange tactical gear.” In the report from the FBI, they stated that they obtained a quote from one of the men saying Whitmer “has no checks and balances at all. She has uncontrolled power right now.

All good things must come to an end.” The plots were foiled by undercover agents and informants leading to the arrests of the men on Wednesday night. Andrew Birge, the U.S. attorney in western Michigan, has called the men “violent extremists.”

Whitmer later blamed the plot on President Donald Trump, noting that he refused to condemn white supremacists in last week’s debate with Joe Biden and instead told a far-right group to “stand back and stand by.” “Hate groups heard the president’s words not as a rebuke but as a rallying cry, as a call to action,” Whitmer said.
