DEVELOPING: (ETH) – A brush fire that has quickly spread to nearly 1,500 acres in the desert hills north of Phoenix early is threatening the town of Cave Creek. According to a report from ABC, The fire has come within about 100 yards of homes and has forced the evacuation of as many as 150 residents,

according to the Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Department. According to the report, Hot and windy weather is posing challenges to the containment of the wildfire, there are roughly about 400 firefighters trying to put out the blaze. As of now, no homes have been burned.
