The Sun – A controversial game allowing people to take up the role of Jesus Christ and even be crucified looks set to be released, despite a negative reaction from some Christians. An advert claiming to show off gameplay for “I Am Jesus Christ” has appeared on the gaming platform Steam. The trailer shows a game playing the role of Jesus in a first-person view, healing a woman in a scene from the New Testament. Another depicts the user being able to conjure up fish from nothing.

In one of the more controversial scenes, gamers can see through the eyes of Jesus on the cross . The game even promises a fight scene between Jesus and the devil in the desert.
