Here we see the root words of witchcraft and how is it commonly associated with other forms of evil, such as the different practices of magic and drugs. Being a former drug addict, I can see how some drugs can completely open the door to evil such as witchcraft. While I was under the influence of powerful drugs prior to salvation, I discovered that nothing pure or
good ever came out of it, because being on heavy drugs opens the door to a spiritual realm of evil that we should not be involved in. When dealing with witchcraft, we have to remember a few things. For starters, we must remind ourselves that this is a powerful, evil force that has been around long before we arrived on the earth. Secondly, God likens rebellion to witchcraft because it operates against godly authority and structures. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you from being king” (1 Sam. 15:23). CONTINUE
