(News Channel 9) – A father’s Facebook post about remarks on his son’s math test has gone viral and sparked outrage from parents around the country. Fox 2 in Detroit says Kamdyn is a second grader and brought home a math test with some pretty harsh remarks at the top: “Absolutely pathetic. He answered 13 in 3 min[utes]! Sad.” The student’s father Chris wrote in the post, “My son Kamdyn’s teacher has been so rude to him
and myself all year he comes home with this and I am beyond frustrated that someone would write this on a child’s (sic) work such great motivation.” Since then, thousands of parents have commented in support of Chris — there’s even an online petition to have this teacher fired, Fox 2 reports. Some parents are disagreeing, though, arguing the teacher was just “doing her job” and shouldn’t be penalized for that. READ MORE
