(FaithWire) – Christian radio behemoth K-LOVE found itself in hot water when executives at the company blocked commercials for the pro-life movie “Unplanned.” The Pure Flix film tells the story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who parted with the organization after she watched a doctor perform an abortion via ultrasound. In late March,
Johnson revealed the Christian radio network had banned ads for “Unplanned,” claiming the content was too “political,” which K-LOVE works to avoid. Johnson urged her Facebook followers to reach out to K-LOVE. Soon thereafter, the radio conglomerate doubled down on its decision, noting the company focuses on “on positive and encouraging content that is safe for the whole family.” A sticking point for K-LOVE was the film’s R-rating. THE CHURCHES no longer consider FIGHTING EVIL their job,I ve talked to them and ask why their NOT involved in the fight against evil here in america,THEY THINK SOME ONE ELSE is in charge, but the TRUTH IS CHURCHES are just a pack of YELLOW cowardly leaches ,spongeing off the good nature of everyone who allows them to exist, other then that ,THEY ARE COMPLETELY WORTHLESS….as human beings, and christians,BUT they don’t have a problem yet,OUR FATHER IS WATCHING THEM,He knows their so busy having fun and doing picknics ,partys, meetings,THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT WHO HE IS,AND THAT THEIR JOB IS TO BE ABOUT HIS BUSINESS.,all you church people out there,YOUR IN DEEP TROUBLE WITH THE LORD,Hes going to tell you,GO AWAY “I NEVER KNEW YOU”..that means YOU AIN’T GETTING INTO HEAVEN..you better wakeup ,your on borrowed time now….
Well, obviously Christian K is the mouthpiece of the gubmint.
The Evil in this world is quick to advertise their evil, yet the Christian side is supposed to stand up and for the word and for the unborn, yet you have miserably failed to do both and are not to be trusted with the most simplest of tasks. Shame on you.
Private businesses are justified to allow or disallow content aired or displayed to their clients or customers, in my opinion.
There are several avenues for anyone to take or speak their platform or message.
Good for you K-Love. Keep positive messaging and programming from being contaminated with political swill.
Their decision to ban the movie on the basis of it being too political is more political than Christian. Life isn’t all about positive and encouraging content for the whole family. Reality can be tough at times and needs to be addressed and not ignored for the sake of a utopian and unrealistic mission statement.
