(Express) – More than 100 people have been killed in severe storms across India and Pakistan as experts warn the terrifying system will not calm until Friday. The powerful storms pulverized northern and central parts of India with aggressive dust walls, hail, rain, and high winds. The storms were at their most intense on Monday when trees were uprooted and homes and power lines were damaged across Madhya Pradesh,
Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan states. The combined death toll between India and neighboring Pakistan, which was similarly afflicted by the monstrous weather, came to a staggering total of 103.
