(Express) – A rocket struck a private home in the north of Tel Aviv on Monday morning, causing the building to collapse and injuring six residents. Residents of Hasharon and Emek Hefer districts north of Tel Aviv said they heard the blasts. The Israeli army said it was looking into the reports after a weekend that saw low-level violence along the restive border. A siren was sounded on Monday morning, at approximately 5:18 a.m., in the Sharon area after a rocket attack from the Gaza Strip.

Local residents reported hearing explosions and the sound of a rocket falling. The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) confirmed that one launch was identified as having been launched from Gaza. According to reports, the rocket exploded in a community in the Sharon region, and several people were lightly injured.
