(Local Memphis) Northwest Tennessee was rattled early Monday morning by an earthquake. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.2 magnitude quake happened about 6:06 a.m. 2.1 miles east of Ridgely, about 16 miles north of Dyersburg.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 4.12 miles (6.6 kilometers). A series of aftershocks were recorded from 6:28 a.m. – 6:40 a.m. 2.1 magnitude, 1.7 magnitude, 1.5 magnitude and 1.2 magnitude.
