The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) will host its 2018 Mega National Christian Counseling Conference in Dallas Sept. 27–29. Incorporating the theme “Speak Life,” the three-day event is built around four core areas: counseling, recovery, marriage and family issues and professional coaching. Nearly 2,000 Christian mental health leaders, pastors, coaches, lay helpers, concerned family members and community leaders will join together to hear from a stellar lineup of plenary speakers, including Ronnie Floyd, Josh McDowell, Tony Evans, Kay Warren, Ed Stetzer, John Townsend, Ron
Hawkins, Gregory Jantz, Ev Worthington, Ian Jones, Diane Langberg, Jeremiah Johnston and AACC President Tim Clinton. In addition to the plenary sessions, attendees will choose between two different conference options. The traditional conference option allows for a custom-tailored experience, with attendees able to fill their schedule with workshops from any of the offered eight professional tracks: Child, Adolescent and Family Issues and Interventions; Love, Sexuality and Relationships; Couples in Crisis— Relationship Conflict and Marital Recovery; Grief, Crisis, Trauma and Disaster; Addiction, Relapse and Recovery; Clinical Assessment, Research and Evidence-based Practices; Professional Life Coaching and Consultation; The Faith Factor and Spiritual Interventions.
