A California church is grieving after their pastor committed suicide over the weekend. Inland Hills Lead Pastor Andrew Stoecklein died Saturday after taking his own life. The pastor left behind three young children and his wife. “Last night, the love of my life, the father of my children and the pastor of our
incredible church took his last breath and went to be with Jesus,” his wife Kayla wrote on her Instagram. She said Stoecklein suffered from depression and anxiety. “It wasn’t the miracle I was hoping for but he is now in heaven with his dad,” she said. “He was an amazing husband, he truly made me better, made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world, and he loved me so deeply.” READ MORE

Im not sure where the hope for one who takes his own life… it sounds to me like deception
“Numbers 30:35a Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death…” I don’t know. To me suicide its killing oneself. Here is a question, does his worldly title “Pastor” give him special treatment in the eyes of the LORD? Doesn’t his act of suicide expose his lukewarmness? A true believer who is lead by the Holy Spirit will NEVER, commit suicide. The Holy Spirit would have stopped him. If suicide is acceptable in Heaven, many new converters will definitely kill themselves knowing that they will be automatically be with the LORD, and out of this miserable earth. Murder is explained as taking a person’s life, therefore one become a murderer if the one who committed the sin did not repent. we know what the Bible says about that. We have this tendency as Christians to dilute the word of God and His warnings that we have developed for ourselves another god, who does not mean what he says. When He warns in Galatians 5: 19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” and His final warning in Revelations 21:8 “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” we think he means the people we have judged in our courts (Public or judicial). The GOD who is the same yesterday (that includes year 1 of creation), today (2018) and tomorrow (eterninity) has never, and will never approve suicide.
But because I am a sinner, I pray that He has mercy on this pastor’s soul. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, AMEN.
Not reading this. All it is is doctrines, 2 Timothy 2:23 stuff and human opinions. As if some human actually knows someone else’s heart. The principle behind how the entire kit and kaboodle works is in 1 Samuel 16:7b. That translates to this being some human thread so no thanks. The Holy Spirit can speak for Himself and I’ll listen to Him over humans anytime.
