Big Island’s Kilauea volcano is showing no sign of a drop in seismic activity, as it was rocked by another earthquake today. Shaking the summit with a preliminary magnitude of 5.4, the experts at USGS have warned residents to expect ash fall.  There have been thousands of earthquakes in the

month since Kilauea began erupting, with 505 measured by the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory in the past 24 hours alone. Today’s earthquake occurred at 4:45 am local time (3:45 pm BST) and was associated with an explosive eruption at the summit.
