A Strong earthquake has struck in Iran, rattling the country’s Bushehr nuclear plant as well as parts of Bahrain and Qatar.  No injuries are expected because the epicenter of the earthquake was located in a sparsely located area, the Iran Red Cross said. However as many as 10 million people felt some level of shaking due to the quake, CSEM-EMSC said. In Bahrain, people were evacuated from high-rise buildings.

Some witnesses left testimonies on the CSEM-EMSC website. An Iranian witness said: “It was intense.” A resident in Kuwait said: “I was lying on my bed and suddenly I felt dizzy and felt like my bed was shaking.
