A body modification artist and self-styled ‘transhumanist’ has showcased some of the bizarre alterations he’s subjected his body to over the last 30-years.  Russ Foxx, from Vancouver, British Columbia, has had over 100 modifications applied to his body – from electrical key fobs fitted in his hand to silicone horns implanted into his head. The 36-year-old full-time modifications artist has performed tens of thousands

of procedures – many on himself – including a forked snake tongue, ultraviolet tattoos, and pointed ears. Other unconventional works include scarifications (a piece of art scratched into the skin with the scarring healing into a piece of art) to an implanted 3D silicon scarab.  Russ became fascinated by the world of extreme aesthetic manipulation after getting his ears pierced aged five and, by age 18, the parlor owner had over 50 piercings in his face – leading to nickname ‘tackle box’.  READ MORE
