A 21-year-old Kenyan woman who grew up in strict Muslim household has been disowned by her family and stripped of her possessions after they found out she had converted to Christianity. But, according to the United States based non-governmental organization International Christian Concern, that has not stopped Rahma (a pseudonym) from giving her life to Christ.  “Islam was a yoke to my heart. I felt as if I

was forced to believe in things that were a heavy burden to carry,” Rahma told ICC in an interview earlier this month. “So three weeks ago, I yielded to the call of God and put my faith in Christ Jesus.” s the ICC reported, Rahma grew up in a Muslim family of eight, praying five times a day, and adhering to the teachings of the the Quran. Over time, however, she began to question some of the practices of the faith, and her exasperated father sent her to live with her aunt following the death of her mother in 2001 in hopes that she would embrace Islam, but it only drove her further away.  READ MORE
