Yet, he sees God at work through nature and science. “Anything that shows the power and presence of God gives us the liberty to point people to Jesus Christ and in that, everybody needs to be prepared for his return,” he said in an interview with CBN News. Dan, I get your point, but sooner or later a natural event may very well be a sign. You’ve got to admit, it’s kind of strange how these recent events (blood moons) and the potential Revelation 12 sign that will be in the heavens this fall have all fallen (or will fall) on or during one of God’s feasts. And even if this eclipse is nothing more than your so-called natural event (nature is from God), if it gets a few peoples attention and draws them to Jesus, how is that a bad thing? Just maybe that little nudge is from the Holy Spirit to wake a few up. To be adamant against it as you are is dangerous because you will wind up being like one of the five virgins who didn’t bring oil for their lamps, and you won’t be ready when God does move. As far as turning some away, I would have to say that they never knew the true nature of God in the first place, because if they allowed someone like Harold Camping to lead them astray, then they didn’t have their eyes focused on Jesus. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice.” If they were listening to Camping or whatever his name is, they weren’t hearing Jesus!
