Hurricane Katrina walloped New Orleans just two days before the annual homosexual “Southern Decadence” festival was to begin in the town, an act being characterized by some as God’s work. Southern Decadence has a history of “filling the French Quarters section of the city with drunken homosexuals engaging in sex acts in the public streets and bars,” says a statement from the Philadelphia Christian organization Repent America. This year’s 34th annual Southern Decadence
festival, which drew 125,000 revelers last year, was set to begin today in the Big Easy and run through Monday. As writer John d’Addario explained in “Southern Decadence 2005: A How-To Guide” posted on FrenchQuarter.com: Parades and non-stop parties aside, Southern Decadence may be most famous (or infamous) for the displays of naked flesh which characterize the event – which is only fitting, since New Orleans in early September is generally the closest thing you’ll ever experience to walking around in a steambath outside of a health spa. For a religious group, you sure do hate a lot of different types of people.
Shouldn’t hate the person but sure can hate the sin.
We don’t hate the people. We hate the sin and stupidity of homosexuality. It’s a sickness that needs to be stopped.
Homosexuality, in either sex is unproductive, unnatural and unhealthy. Your rectum was made for one thing and one thing only, to defecate. Using the rectum for intercourse is not only unhealthy but dangerous as well. And women who have to strap on an apparatus to perform or have oral sex (gross)is down right disgusting as well as unhealthy, especially oral sex. Many different & serious conditions/diseases can be gotten by these actions. Just a few things to think about.
Wow Niki, you sure know how to say things straight on!! ArmageddonProof, how is reporting on such an event hateful? As “religious people” we will naturally be disgusted of an event like this, people walking around naked, having unnatural sex… does this sound to you like something God would approve of? Like other people said, we hate the sin, with a passion, AND we love people enough to hope and pray that they will come to their senses, turn back to God and be saved. It is interesting that I must “respect” your point of view, but as soon as we state our point of view, then we are religious haters…
