I’d expect that from the world, but I hoped for better in the church. So we are clear, Osteen and I are not on the same page theologically. And I have serious problems with the prosperity gospel. “No one knows how hard it would be to organize a rescue effort” About as hard as it would be for all the others who actually did! I guess we shouldn’t expected someone with suits that probably cost thousands to get wet! No one should be so big that they are exempt from criticism!
It is not our place to judge others. I can see why they cancelled services. People should not be venturing out in severe weather. Instead of pointing fingers at others we should be more interested in offering help ourselves.
Folks like Joel Osteen’s church is a business to make money off of .. For we are not like so many others, who peddle the word of God for profit. Nacay sadly you do not know the bible . You love the false and would say nothing while the wolves come in and devour .Nancy you would hate Paul or Peter or John or even Jesus words .They judged others and told us to warn others of the false .Folks like Nancy in the church is the reason we have a falling away .The anti christ will rise and be loved by the church because so many will falsely claim say judge not .

Ed, there are no gods. Mythological fairy tales like resurrection of Jesus or Muhammad or Joseph Smith receiving revelations from a magic sky fairy are the stuff of legerdemain used by charlatans to deceive those who refuse to think. Olsteen is a con man. If somebody wants a better life, they have to work for it and use reason as the means of acquiring knowledge and not simply wait for a magic man to put it into their brain.
