Tens of thousands of Christians flocked to the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday night for Harvest America, an event aimed at spreading the gospel and positively impacting a “nation desperately in need of hope.” Harvest America events, spearheaded by Pastor Greg Laurie, senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside and Irvine, California, have long been known for their massive impact on attendees. And this year was no exception.
According to a preliminary report, 38,000 people attended the stadium in person on Sunday night. Among them, 2,904 people “indicated their decision to follow Jesus Christ” at the event.
