John Prewet – You didn’t have to see Billy Graham warn people of the Vatican. He did it through his strong Protestant teaching. Billy Graham started out bringing tens of thousands of people to Christ in the 1950’s, including still unprecedented crusades at Madison Square Garden. He still, to this day, has brought more people to Christ than any human who has ever lived. This is true because of the amount of people who attended his worldwide crusades that went on for 50 years – and how those crusades dovetailed with the burgeoning TV and radio technology that he was was the first preacher to use in such a widespread manner. My parents rededicated their lives to Graham at one of those 1950’s Crusades, and I rededicated my life to Christ – with my parents again – at a 1980’s crusade. He got wishy washy when he got older, and said some kooky things to Larry King, but you cannot change the facts I’ve outlined.
And Franklin and Ann Graham Lotz are two people that God is using mightily in these last days. I also agree with Benny Hinn, though I said it before he did – that the death of Billy Graham, because of his role as a mighty prophet of God — will be a sign of the end times that will set off a series of events that will be obvious.
