Vice President Mike Pence will address hundreds of persecuted Christians from around the globe at a Washington, D.C., summit hosted by evangelist Franklin Graham this week. Pence, an evangelical Christian who has made religious freedom a priority, is scheduled to address the gathering Thursday morning. Franklin Graham recently discussed the upcoming  World Summit in Defense of Persecuted Christians on the “Washington Watch” radio program with host Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council.

Graham and Perkins talked about worldwide persecution and the violence committed against Christians and other religious minorities around the world. “I want our politicians to see what is happening and I want the voices of these people who have been persecuted, I want their voices to be heard. I want to give them a stage for them to be able to tell their stories and do it right there in Washington, where hopefully, we can see some policy changes,” Graham said of the summit. READ MORE
