Churchgoers have hailed a ‘miracle’ after a statue of Jesus moved its head during mass. Footage apparently recorded by a member of the congregation shows the figure in the top right corner of the shot during a service. But halfway through the clip, the figure’s head suddenly moves from one side, dropping down. The video is said to have been filmed in the church of Santa Ana in Tepetitlan, in the state of Jalisco, western Mexico.
The clip has gone viral and the story of the “miracle”, as some villagers have described it, has made national headlines. Estela Gomez, one of those to have witnessed the phenomenon, told local media: “He wants to tell us something, he wants something from us.” Another villager claimed: “This could be a miracle”.
