North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile from an area near Pukchang, according to the South Korean military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. The missile flew east about 500 km (over 300 miles), South Korean officials said. “Our military is closely monitoring North Korea and is maintaining readiness posture,” the statement said.
It seems to have fallen into the Sea of Japan, also known as the East Sea, but not within Japan’s exclusive economic zone, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said in a press briefing. Authorities have not received any reports of damage on ships or planes, Suga said. I can’t even count how many times nations have either won wars or prevented them by “closely monitoring” the dangerous enemy. How many times, in school text books, have we read that because global forces had “closely monitored” Hitler’s Nazis they were able to win the war?
Closely monitoring North Korea is what South Korean and American forces have claimed to have been doing for many months now. However, there comes a time when you need to stop closely monitoring the enemy and take action. A good example of that would be once the enemy launches a missile!
No wonder America and South Korea have never truly ever won a war! When they are not purposely slaughtering unarmed hospitals and neighborhoods they are too busy closely monitoring the enemy.
