The emergence of a new “Gospel” has some questioning the authenticity of Christianity. The account, allegedly written by the apostle Barnabas, claims that Judas was crucified rather than Jesus. The Daily Star summarizes the book: The text claims Jesus ascended to heaven before Judas Iscariot could lead Roman soldiers to him on the Mount of Olives.
Judas is then transformed into the appearance of Jesus and snatched by the Romans—becoming the one who suffered and died on the cross.
His body is then stolen from the grave, sparking rumors of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday. The book, discovered nearly 20 years ago, also claims Jesus prophesied about Muhammad. Iran believed the words held the key to the collapse of Christianity, but most scholars believe the book is fraudulent. “This extraordinary discovery is probably a hoax, the work of a forger who, according to some, could have been a European Jewish scholar from the Middle Ages,” according to The Vatican Insider. Has anyone EVER read Galatians 1:8-9. Anyone who brings a false gospel, even if it’s an angel, CURSE him. That includes Mormonism, the pagan religion of islam, and every false gospel like these forgeries. The apostle Paul warned this would happen, it happened with the Judaizers in Galatas when Paul wrote this. It happened with that false prophet of a pagan god (islam). It happened with Joseph Smith who also received a false gospel. Happened to Ellen White of the Adventists, Mary Baker Eddy, etc.
Jesus said false teachers would come, good thing we have the very words of YHWH, the God of Israel, the only true God, and His divine Son.
1 Galatians 9 said if any man preach any gospel unto you than that ye have received let him be accursed. Well I have been to a lot of different churches, even seven day Adventists and they teach the gospel maybe even more because they believe Saturday is the Sabbath day so you need not to hate or not like someone because their not Baptist, Methodist, ect. I think the bible is saying that if aliens came down and started giving off the wrong gospel saying there is no God or those people who falsely say they are Christ and what about those fake money preachers? I think that so you need to be a loving brother in Christ!!!
