The book of Daniel has many references to end-times prophecy. One of these, found in Daniel 9:26b-27, refers to a special event at the end of days. Before Jesus comes back, there will be a seven-year treaty formed with many nations. This is often called Daniel’s 70th week of prophecy. In the middle of this seven-year period, the temple of God will be defiled; sacrifices will be ceased.
Interestingly enough, no temple stands in Israel today. No animal sacrifices are taking place. This means that for the verses in Daniel to come to pass, this temple must be rebuilt. The rendering of Daniel 9:26-27 in the KJV is different from the NIV.If KJV is used, the “he” in verse 27 will be Jesus Christ Grammatical analysis is this: Three nouns are mentioned in verse 26: the Messiah, the people and the prince that shall come. “He” in verse 27 is singular, so the people in verse 26 is eliminated. “Of the prince” is a prepositional phrase and the word prince is only an object of the preposition “of” cannot be a subject therefore what remains is the Messiah. “The word “He” in verse 27 is Jesus Christ. Who can confirm the covenant with “many” for one week? Jesus confirmed it for after 3 and 1/2 years of ministry, he died ushering the new covenant with his blood. Sacrifice and oblation ceased because “by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified (Hebrews 10:14). Who can make the overspreading of abomination desolate? It could not be the antichrist because he is the source of abomination. So what is left is the 2nd 3 1/2 years to complete the one week or 7 years. That’s the reason Jesus cut off his reading of Isaiah 61 verse 2. The second clause “the day of vengeance” will happen at the second 3 1/2 years.

The evil thing that happens is when the amtichrist sits in the temple and declare himself god. Yeshua also never came to do away with ethnic heritage as many claim. We are all still Jews and Gentiles together under one banner, yes in one aspect. But we are still chinese, japanese, indian, american believers and should uphold our heritages and worship G-d in that manner. Not by bringing pagan practices of these heritages, but by identifying ourselves as such while also being a child of YHVH. It is written My house will be a house of prayer for many “NATIONS”. If we believe Yeshua did away with ethnic divisions then that statement returns void. Ethnic identities should not be frowned upon but embraced.(except palestinians who made up their own fake race to excuse radical islamic agendas).
So in closing I welcome the 3rd temple. But hate what will become of it once the antichrist sits there and we have to flee.
