(By Kelly McDonald, Jr) In a recent interview, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres affirmed to World Jewish Congress President Ron Lauder that the Romans destroyed the Jewish Temple in 70 AD. This statement was a relief. The UN has been very hostile to Israel. In 2016, 20 of 26 UN resolutions passed were against the Jewish state.
In the interview, Lauder pointed out that one purpose of the UN is to protect the Jewish people from another Holocaust. Guterres said that he desires to act with impartiality on all matters relating to Israel. He also condemned the UN report last October that claimed there was no connection between Judaism and the Temple Mount. We can only hope that the UN and Israel have better relations going forward.

Christians everywhere should pray for Israel and should take an interest in world events…we are much closer to the end of this age than any of us realise, the Rapture is only a few years away but the church really is sleeping….
Most churches are more like social clubs and don’t evangelise…
