(by Kelly McDonald, Jr) For the second time in just two years, RadioShack has announced bankruptcy. They plan to close around 200 stores and re-evaluate their positions on the other 1,300 that remain. Since the first bankruptcy in 2015, the store had slashed operating expenses by 23 percent, but financial problems persisted.
One of the main reasons that RadioShack filed again was a partnership with Sprint that failed to materialize any financial gain. Once a stable, reliable company, RadioShack hopes better financial decisions can reverse its recent decline.
