(By Kelly McDonald, Jr) A miracle recently occurred in a small town in North Carolina. Melanie and Mike Leitner’s new born child, Ella, was born with a heart defect. Doctors informed the family that the child might not even survive to the tender age of 1. But, God intervened!
Ella was placed on the waiting list for a new heart, but time was running out. The child had difficult time breathing and even appeared gray. On January 29th, their pastor stopped in the middle of the church service and asked the congregation to pray for Ella. After church they received the call that changed their lives: they found a heart match for Ella. What made this sudden turn of events even more miraculous is that Ella received a heart that is not her blood type. This story is a continued reminder of the power of prayer.
i am a Christian. sorry but in eyes what a terrible shame,this “miracle only came about due to the fact that another human being had to die in order for this to happen. I am sure the dead child’s family feel devastated that they did not also receive a “miracle” We need to pray for them for suffering his dreadful loss.
