Although Amazon is boasting of its plans to create 100,000 American jobs in the next year, They are failing to reveal that with every job created at Amazon, it ultimately results in the end of one, two or three others jobs. And according to Jeff Bezos, what Amazon doesn’t want you to know is that they are going to destroy more American jobs than China ever has.
Amazon has revolutionized the way Americans consume and they are forcing a facelift to many retail industries and more in America! Anyone who desires to shop for anything from books to diapers increasingly go online instead of going to the to the local shopping malls. And for about half of those online purchases, the transaction goes through Amazon.
The greatest victim of amazon is by far retail workers. That is because Amazon is to blame for 10,100 workers who are losing their jobs at Macy’s. Or the 4,000 at The Limited. Or the thousands of workers at Sears and Kmart, which just recently announced 150 stores will be closing. Or the 125,000 retail workers who’ve been laid off over the past two years.
