Love Warrior author and Momastery blog founder Glennon Doyle Melton made a bombshell announcement over the weekend: She’s dating soccer star Abby Wombach. Doyle Melton, whose new book is an Oprah Book Club selection, recently separated from her husband, Craig, for the second time. Doyle Melton posted the announcement to her social media channels.

This is just pride and disobedience. She says that she will not try to convert anyone but she’ll share if they ask. This is in direct disobedience to the what Jesus commands for us to do when He said to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Also, her belief that homosexuality is not sin is in direct opposition to what God’s word says. She seems to think that you can pick and choose what you want to believe about what God explicitly declares wrong. Make no mistake about how God feels about this sin. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for it and He likens it to the sin of the angels who sinned against mankind by going after women before the flood (Jude 1:6-7). She is essentially shaking her fist at God in these two points. If she is truly a child of God He will discipline her and she will hopefully eventually turn from her sin. Or she may not truly know Jesus and may be following a false Jesus. 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
Every time I read something like this it just Confirms the validity of the Bible when it talks of the signs that point to the return of Jesus; “that WHicham is evil shall be called good and that which is good shall be called evil”… I am a strong beliver that the word of God is infalible and that our opinions do not trump over his truth. Those that live in sin and justify it does so to their own demise. those that live in sin and justify it will one day give an account to God and he will be their judge and their conscious will be their accuser. I remember a couple who made excuses and tried to justify their disobedience to God’s word and I remember the serpent how twisted the truth to accommodate the thought in Eves mind in what could be the harm in eating something that looked so pleasing to the eyes…well we all know what happens….you can try and justify your sin all you want but at the end you won’t be able to blame your disobedience to Satan. you know the word and you know what the bibles calls sin. if not or if you have forgotten you can read romans chapter 1 and 2. humanity has no excuse…for the wages of sin is death but the reward of God is life everlasting…so choose very carefully who you are listing to….the father of lies that pays you with death and destruction or a loving God who died for you to give you the power to resist the enemy and live faithfully to the end…please don’t try to justify your sin.acknowledge it..repent and live. I say that with love.

If Jesus were alive today he would hold Glennon close and love her and condemn you all for your judgment. How does her live harm you or hurt God? It doesn’t.
Sin separates us from God. Homosexuality is described in both the old and new testaments as abhorrent and detestable to God. I pray that God convicts Glennon’s heart enough for her to repent of this “relationship” with another woman. Nothing good can come from being in willful rebellion against God. We must remember He gave us His laws to protect us and save us, He will not deny us any good thing.

Jesus IS alive today. So is Satan. Both love and sin are alive and well. The battle between good and evil wages on. If you think love and good win in the battle on earth I suggest you Read scripture again. Also why would you cone to a site as this? If you think that pointing out scripture referring to a great falling away or what is good being called bad and what is bad being called good is judgement you are not feeling the judgement of man. Picture the image of an individual with a conscious of good on one shoulder and the conscious of evil on the other shoulder. Once anyone loses this? Or thinks it only applies to a handful or topics and not every topic? When someone feels judged they must wonder, is this really someone’s judgement or is my “conscious” judging me? The Lord won’t only challenge us or judge us and our thinking upon our death. It happens daily.

Ok…I get tired of hearing people accuse Christians of not being loving when pointing out sin. Here’s the deal; is it loving to not warn someone of their sin if it’s dragging them to hell or if it’s going to lead them to a life of pain and regret? I recall reading a story about a child that had German Measles near his eyes. The doctor told his mother to scrub his eyes every day or he’d go blind. One day his mother pinned him down and started to scrub his eyes but the boy cried for her to stop. The mother stopped but then the aunt grabbed the boy and mercilessly started scrubbing his eyes. Which showed godly mercy and love more in that moment? Yes, Jesus would wrap her up in His arms and love on her but just like with the adultress in the book of John, He would tell her to “Go and sin no more.” God hates sin and the cross of Christ is the measure of that hatred. -Oswald Chambers.
