A professor from Northwestern University believes Christians pose a greater threat to the United States than Islamists. Though Professor Catherine M. Wallace calls herself a Christian – one of the social justice variety – she claimed in a lecture called “Confronting Fundamentalism” at the Seminary Co-op Bookstore on the campus of the University of Chicago that Christian fundamentalists pose a greater threat to our nation because they can somehow gain access to the nuclear codes.
“If [anyone Islamic] wanted to attack an American city, they had to hijack an airliner,” she claims. “If they want to blow up a concert, they need to put bombs on their own children and send young men in to kill themselves… that kind of radicalism [Christian fundamentalism] in control of nuclear codes was a much, much greater threat.” Wallace believes that “Christian fundamentalist” violence is a threat because it stems from a literal reading of the Bible, which she claims is a modern aberration and that “nobody in the ancient world would have read the Bible literally.” FULL REPORT
In 70 years since 1945 of having the codes to launch nuclear weapons how many have we launched? None. How many attacks have muslim radicals launched in 70 years? THOUSANDS!!! What an odd argument this woman makes against her faith.
Sorry professor, REAL CHRISTIANS will never do that. We have laws such as “DON’T MURDER” and “LOVE YOUR ENEMY” and you should be ashamed to call yourself a christian. What will Yahweh say to you on judgement day?
It should be obvious to anyone that this professor is not a Christian. She may claim to be a Christian but she is not a Christian. Quite the contrary an din fact: this professor will not see the kingdom of heaven.

Understand that the Pope has hooks in many so called Christians and has deceived many. To the Pope Islam is just another way to God, as well as Shaman’s, Buddhists, etc. Blasphemous! The end times have a false church according to Christians and they are being conditioned to view REAL Christians as the problem. This movement is clever – the unification of all religions. Problem is that is impossible unless they all serve a new christ, false christ. We are the problem because we Christians interfere with the false messiah.
I think she has been taken out of context. Her fear for any world disaster by Christians will be in retaliation to Islam and those who create disorder by strapping on bombs to kids etc. because those with the finger on the buttons are predominantly Christian… My opinion is that religion in general will destroy the world far quicker than global warming or the next ice age.
Totally absurd reasoning. The practioneers of Islam would use nukes against the West if they could in order to kill all the infidels. We have fought one war after another with these Jihadists, and have held off using our ultimate weapon thereby allowing them to gain power and strength.
