The forecast cone for Hurricane Matthew has shifted farther west into Florida on Tuesday afternoon. The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch from Golden Beach to the Volusia/Brevard County line as Hurricane Matthew headed toward Florida. tropical storm watch also is in effect from the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys northward to south of Deerfield Beach, including Lake Okeechobee. As of 8 p.m., Hurricane Matthew was 55 miles east-northeast of Guantanamo, Cuba and 15 miles southwest of the Eastern tip of Cuba.
