(By Ricky Scaparo) According to a report from CBS San San Francisco, a strong magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck off the Northern California coast on Friday evening and was confirmed by the USGS. According to the report, The earthquake struck around 8:30 p.m. with an epicenter about 73 miles west of Ferndale in Humboldt County. No reports of damage or tsunami alert was reported from the quake.

This quake on the West Coast was followed by a strong magnitude 5.6 that shook the Nation’s midsection. The quake struck north central Oklahoma on Saturday morning and could be felt over a seven-state area, according to reports from the U.S. Geological Survey reported.  This earthquake reportedly matched the strongest to ever hit the state – The results of this earthquake rattled a wide area of the Great Plains, including Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Nebraska and Iowa. It was centered about 9 miles northwest of Pawnee, Okla., prompting local officials to dispatch officers to check key facilities, such as the local water plant.  Our End Time Headlines Facebook thread was filled with testimonies of feeling and even hearing the earthquake when it occurred.

Briana from Iowa stated:  “I’m in Iowa and I felt it! Very weird experience. My bathroom door shook, the couch shook, then I noticed my lamp shaking. The craziest part was how it made my body feel weird. Almost a dizzy feeling, but it’s kind of hard to explain.”
