Most of us either have had head lice or knows someone who has had it sometimes in their life. It wasn’t too hard to get rid of them at one time. It was usually a simple purchase of some special shampoo or some concoction your grandmother came up with and sometimes it would be a drastic measure of cutting your hair. But now a new report is indicating that Lice are becoming more difficult to eradicate in young children’s hair, according to a study released last week in the Journal of Medical Entomology (JME).

New evidence shows that head lice have developed resistance to two types of common over the counter insecticide treatments for lice infestation. JME studied 48 states and found that, on average, 98 percent of head lice in at least 42 states managed to grow gene mutations that enable them to become resistant to different insecticides otherwise known as pyrethrins, pyrethroids, and permathrins.
Cmon now this is not end times news, this is silly news. There are plenty of things that get rid of lice. Rubbing raw garlic on the head will kill them instantly. Diatomaceous earth rubbed on the head will also kill them. Very many things that will kill lice.
Tea tree oil also helps to repel them if you are exposed to them so that it makes your head an unfriendly place for lice.
My grandchildren had lice since may we can’t seem to get rid of them please help me out thank you so much
