If you live in the town of Hugo, Colorado and have noticed a funny taste in the water lately, it’s probably because it has reportedly been tainted with THC! Yes, the chemical found in Marijuana. According to a report coming from a local affiliate in the area, it appears that someone deliberately contaminated the water. As a result of this local officials have warned not to drink the water.
During a routine test of the water it was discovered that it had unknown levels of THC present in Hugo’s water. “A vial of tap water was used to demonstrate what should have been an absolute negative result, however, when that tap water was tested, a positive indicator for THC was detected,” said Captain Michael Yowell of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
