We all knew this day was coming! The day, when preaching and teaching the Bible, would become a “Hate Crime” or considered to be unpopular to society and the culture of the day. Paul warned us that the day would come when men would no longer listen to sound doctrine nor would they heed the word of God, But rather gather teachers around them to preach and teach what their itching ears want to hear! One story coming out of Uganda should wake you up to this reality and that is a report by Liberty Counsel who filed a motion for summary judgment in a lawsuit filed by Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) against Pastor Scott Lively, in which SMUG seeks to silence and impose significant financial penalties against Lively for speech about homosexuality in Uganda. The motion contains 198 pages of facts and legal argument.
In the suit, SMUG alleges that Lively committed “crimes against humanity” in violation of “international law”—akin to genocide and war crimes—by simply sharing his biblical views on homosexuality during three visits to Uganda in 2002 and 2009. The suit makes the sensational claim that Lively’s visits were part of a “conspiracy” to “persecute” the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) population of Uganda. SMUG alleged Lively orchestrated rampant “discrimination” and even violence against the LGBTI community, leading to the death of SMUG leader David Kato. FULL REPORT
This was obviously written by someone very biased. I highly doubt anyone would press such charges on someone, especially a pastor, if they did not believe they had reason to do so. Where are the videoS of his sermons? Where is the background off all this? There’s is probably a whole lot more to this story!

And so it begins, first imprisonment, then a few years down the line, death…don’t believe me? Look at Middle East, plenty of Christian brothers and sisters murdered for Christian faith, same story in North Korea and in many African countries, in India and Pakistan, and plenty others too. Western countries the exception, most parts of world, believer in Jesus, you are persecuted tortured and killed…how long do we in Western countries have? Not long…maybe a decade, who knows? only God…spread the Gospel now you still can, time is not on our side…evil plans advance against us…Christians will be Raptured up and the persecution until then will only increase, God loves you and watches over you. Remember you are never truly alone if you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
Mallory I wish you were right, but unfortunately there are many people in high places with an agenda against Christians.
The condition of the world is because of the condition of the church. The Laodecian church results in these last days. We cannot stop the Book of Revelation, but we may be able to slow it down, but seems unlikely. The church is too divided so it will not stand. But God always leaves himself a remnant. Today is the day of your Salvation. Get in the Will of God, strengthen your Ark and stock it with food and water. We are in the evil day and the tribulation is coming upon the whole world.
The murder of anyone is to be vilified and strongly condemned, we are to Love everyone and show love to everyone.
One thing disturbing…
All these people who get offended over the slightest thing, getting all upset because people disagree with your ideas, are we under a dictator? Can you be the only ones who are correct in thought and deed?
I am addressing this Question to the ones that think they know better than the Word of God.
Hmm, this present world that we know is unraveling and many laws will be passed to silence Christians, eventually they will murder Christians and try to eradicate Christianity, remember though, those that celebrate when Christians die and are persecuted, when the Believers are Raptured, you will be left behind, and Luicfer and the Anti-Christ will come to rule over you, and all the judgement described in Revelation will be yours….
God wants you to repent, but He won’t force you to follow Him. That decision is yours…people choose Hell when they reject Jesus…God doesn’t want any of you to go to Hell which is why He sent Jesus Christ to die for your sins…
So that you could be reconciled with God….
Stand up for righteousness and don’t compromise the Word of God, be worthy, be kind and gracious to everyone but don’t deny our Father in Heaven, or Jesus Christ Son of God, or His Word. Be like Jesus, love each other and bless your enemies.
Persecution will separate the wheat from the chaff….don’t be chaff by pleasing the world, and grieving your Father in Heaven.
You need to stand firm and know Jesus, develop a close loving relationship with Jesus. He will watch over you.
Soon all of us will have to make a choice if we will stand with Jesus Christ, or the world that hates Him…
What will your choice be?
Soon enough communication about Christianity will be illegal, not today or tomorrow, but not too long off…maybe within 15 years or so, maybe less? only God knows the future. We live in dangerous times…
Already the Holy Bible is seen as Hate Speech, and banned in many places…some pastors are thrown into jail…
Make use of the time we do have, preach the Gospel whilst you still can.

Homosexually is a sin,1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God ? That is what this scripture in the Bible says. I believe he is doing what is right according to the Lord and is word.
