Police officer Has been shot in Indianapolis

According to a report coming tonight out of Indianapolis A Metro Police Department officer has been shot during a traffic stop on Monday. The report indicates that An occupant of the vehicle allegedly fired at the officer,

whose condition is still unknown. The night watch commander Michael Jefferson of the Indianapolis Police Department told reporters, “The officer was hit in the leg, transported to Methodist hospital.”
