DEVELOPING: Parliament is in lockdown after reports that a mysterious ‘white powder’ was found inside a letter to a peer triggering fears of a chemical attack. Police are preventing people from goining in or out of the House of Lords where peers are still sitting. Experts are frantically trying to establish what the powder is and whether the substance poses any threat to health. Security experts have been scrambled to the scene.
