(Reported By Jennifer Leclaire) It’s not easy to plant a church. Even with a strong launch team, you still need a prime location—and that takes lots of money. Apologia Church has come up with a disturbing way to raise funds for its church plant in Hawaii. Marcus Pittman, its leader, offered tattoos and a Bible conference complete with a beer flight, a sampling of beers much like a wine tasting, to pick up some cash.
“This is actually a fundraiser for our Apologia Kauai church plant, so people of the church are donating to have another member of the church tattoo them so they can go to Kauai and we can plant a church there,” Pittman says in a YouTube video. “So, it’s pretty cool.” As he sees it, the tattoos and beer flights are cooler than a bake sale. You can fool those who want their cake and eat it too but you can’t fool those who love God and know the truth. And live the truth . Not only are they leading captive silly women but they are also leading captive silly men who are also selling their birth right . The gospel is not for sale. Salvation is free to those who want their sins forgiven by the previous blood of Christ and forsaken so that they will go to heaven. There is no sin in heaven. Jesus is the only way to heaven God does not dwell in tents of wickedness. Every Pastor of the Gospel is to watch over the souls God has entrusted to and leads to Christ. WO unto us if we teach lies and lead someone astray.

Thank you for posting this! This is my view and opinion on it.
Personally, my own thought and opinion here. I’m not putting people down who drink. I know there are many christians who drink! There are christian leaders and people who say they are pastors who drink! Alcohol has no buisness in peoples life especially when it was in their past!!! A little wine for the stomach as my dad used to say dosen’t wash with my spirit. In my Singles ministry of many years. I would have some of the singles who opened up about some of those struggles and how they just wanted to find a wholesome place to fellowship at. Yet they would find people in the leadership of their churches drinking saying it’s o.k. they would walk into a lion den of temptation because what is mirrored and modeled is the example people see. The little foxe’s have a whole family of foxe’s that come in as a result. Mixture and compromise! I know we can all preach on it! Much of the issues in churches today is a watered down, worldly presentation adding a little bit of Jesus. How about when The scripture say

Heart!! Yet all the while there is a snake growing in the room hidden somewhere getting ready to bite someone. We can’t kiss a demon and pet a snake! God would rather people come clean and get real before him and acknowledge before him a struggle they are having and brjng it to him not cover it up.God would rather a leader or Pastor …. step down so he can fix and heal some heart issues that are spilling over to the people at least he can work with someone like that who humbles himselve and acknowledges he needs help!!
