Did you know that the city of Tel Aviv in Israel is one of the largest Homosexual hotspots in the world? In fact, According to a report from MailOnline back in 2012, Tel Aviv was named the world’s number one gay city. The Israeli metropolis beat out competition from New York to top a survey carried out by American Airlines and GayCities.com to find the most popular destination for gay travellers. It landed a staggering 43 percent of the vote, way ahead of runner-up New York’s 14 percent and third-placed Toronto with 7 per cent.
MSNBC reported Tel Aviv “boasts one of the world’s largest Gay Pride parades” At the time of the report the parade, was in it’s 17th year and drew an estimated 180,000 people on making it the largest gay pride parade in all of Asia and the Middle East. Considering that the entire population of Tel Aviv is just 420,000, this turnout is proportionately higher than the 2 million who march in the annual Pride parade in New York, a city of 8.5 million.
Though it may not be as large as Tel Aviv, Jerusalem will be hosting “Gay Pride” day this Thursday, and Israeli rabbis have published a letter opposing Thursday’s gay pride parade in Jerusalem, calling the event a “parade of abomination.” The two rabbis wrote an open letter opposing the event that was published and stated the following:
“We are protesting even more strongly the terrible desecration of God’s name; they are bringing in sinners from abroad to participate in this abomination in our holy city,” the rabbis wrote. “And we are protesting even more strongly the fact that for the first time there is a government budget from the money of faithful Jews to encourage this abominable tourism in the heart of the world, our city of strength.”
Sodom and Egypt but still apple of gods eye Bibi I sincerely urge you put a stop to this abomination in Isreal you are chosen by God for Israels end time leader start acting like it
God raises kings (leaders) of nations, and He takes down leaders. Those who fail to remain faithful to their calling by God will ultimately lose their position. I like Bibi…would have voted for him if I were an Israeli, but he is first & foremost a politician. He has be called to serve God first above all. If he is faithful to God and places his trust in Him, He will honor and assist Bibi’s task at leading this nation.
If not…
Cudos to those rabbis. It’s good to witness menof God who actually read their Bibles (Torahs) and believe what the written word plainly says. God felt so strongly about this particular sin that He called it an abomination…and made an example of Sodom & Gomorrah!
When people read the Bible, they would be wise to accept & follow its intended (literal) meaning…and not engage in personal interpretation so as to soothe one’s personal biases or comfort zones.
God will not be mocked. His word will not return to Him empty, but will accomplish everything He has ordained.
I agree and good for the rabbis for speaking up.
Abomination
“The expression ‘abomination’ emphasizes that this sin is not natural, not normal, not suitable for anyone, whether Jew or gentile,” Aviner wrote. Tau and Aviner join another leading Hardali rabbi, Dov Lior, who this week wrote a letter in favor of Lehava, a far-right anti-assimilation group that is organizing a demonstration against the Jerusalem parade.
