In a recent FB Live broadcast from Franklin Graham that led prayer before the Republican National Convention, It was very clear that a nationwide return to God is America’s only hope for the future. “This nation — it needs a spiritual healing from Almighty God,” Graham said before praying. “Our country — I don’t have to tell you — is in trouble… And the only hope for this country is God. It’s not the politicians. It’s God.”
According to reports, Graham is hosting prayer events before both parties’ conventions. Graham went on to say “God uses politicians, and we pray for the politicians that they’ll listen to God’s voice and that they’ll hear His voice,” he continued. “And how important it is today that the politicians listen to God.” Franklin Graham then went on to emphasize how America has been running away from God stating:
“The secularists, the progressives, many of these people, most of them are people that would be atheistic, and we have taken God out of our country,” he said. “We have taken Him out of our nation; we have taken Him out of our government.” “We have taken Him out of the education system, and our country is beginning to implode,” he continued. “We’re on the precipice of anarchy.”
The nation of Israel continued in this way in old testament. Gods anger was kindled and they were captured,and sent to Babylon.
This time there will be no way out. Once in the great tribulation that is it. The light goes out and we are no more?
THERE ARE TWO WAYS OF LOOKING AT THIS
I’ve given the “falling away” a lot of thought lately.
The preachers tell us it’s our fault because we have fallen away from the faith.
I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s the preachers who are to blame. The church has become a collection of money grubbers, right wingers and haters.
