In yet another headline coming out of a group of scientists trying to play God with experiments regarding the manipulation of human DNA. This new report is coming out of China where Chinese scientists are embarking on what appears to be the first human trials with the CRISPR gene editing tool, which is the latest effort by China’s researchers to master a technology that might someday be a tool in developing therapies worldwide.

Lu You who leads the group, An oncologist at the south-western Sichuan University West China Hospital, has recruited the first patient for a ten-people clinical trial, which will activate immune cells using Crispr and infuse them back into patients to fight lung cancer.
