Chicago just experienced the worst shootings in a single day for over a year now. Reports are indicating 55 shootings and five deaths occurred over the weekend in Chicago. This stunning number of shootings
was topped only by last year’s 34 shootings that occurred on July 5, 2015. This bloody weekend raises the total number in Chicago to 2,218 that have been shot this year thus far, with 330 shot and killed.
