Ark Encounter Is Christian Message to the World; 7,000 Attend Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Ark Encounter, the life-sized Noah’s Ark theme-park attraction, held its official ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday in Grant County, Kentucky, ahead of its grand opening on Thursday, July 7th, gathering a crowd of 7,000 to witness the historic event. Ken Ham, president and CEO of Answers in Genesis and The Creation Museum, told The Christian Post:

“In a world that is becoming increasingly secularized and biased, it’s time for Christians to do something of this size and this magnitude.” He told CP that the Ark stands as a reminder. “To remind the coming generations of the truth of God’s word. It’s our way of presenting the truth of God’s Word to the world,” Ham said. FULL REPORT

Wonderful but don’t forget that the Lord JESUS CHRIST is our ark, our only hope and refuge.

Ark Encounter Is Christian Message to the World; at about the same level as Mohammed’s ride on the magic carpet. It’s a Jewish story that predates Christianity by a thousand years and has nothing to do with it.

All I can say, is Thank you God! I plan to bring my family to see the Ark. And oh! The magnitude of His love. We can’t even imagine the magnitude of it. Remember people, God put the rainbow in the sky!

I live in Williamstown and we are so grateful to have the ARK Encounter here. It is magnificent and our community has already felt the economic impact before it ever opened….Not only that…but the presence of the Lord can be sensed as the people gather to see what it could have actually been like to be on the ARK….it has a tremendous message to us today, as it did in Noah’s day.

When you see the crowds , it is sobering to remember with the True ark only 8 humans even wanted to get on board. This is going to be such a significant way to have the ark feel real to so many people who imagine the storybook drawings of the tiny ark with 3 animals sticking their heads out a window . Thank you !
