Hollywood and the Media has a way of getting their message out to the masses by using movies, tv shows and even cartoons. Here is the latest where it appears ABC wants to let you know who the blame is for the world’s “atrocities”. ABC’s Mistresses episode “What Happens in Vegas” delves into parenthood and religion in a surprising way. April (Rochelle Aytes) tries to get her 14-year-old daughter Lucy to come with her to the annual church fundraiser,
but the teenager rebels against her mother, or as she calls her, “Mussolini in a maxi dress.” Lucy says she used to like church but now she knows what it really represents—”Most of the world’s atrocities are committed under the name of religion”—and she can no longer support it.
Lucy: I don’t want to go. Please don’t make me. April: Where is this coming from? You’ve always had a good time at the church fundraisers. And all this time I was sure it was governments doing all the atrocities to humans and animals!!!
Can anyone see what is happening here? All the time, the media mocks The Lord and His people, and blamed for all society ills…this must be challenged and addressed and the church must rise up to condemn TV programmes that do this….
I’m sure that you are aware that before the concentration camps, Jews were vilified and evil propaganda was wrote against them…that was back in the 1930s and later, now in 2016 there is again vile things said about Jews and Christians, where do you think it will end? Christians are regularly called monsters, bigots and haters and are hated…
If you Love The Lord you will be hated by this world…have courage, Jesus Christ has overcome this world….
As for all those that hate Jesus, Judgement is coming…Repent and turn to Him, He loves you.
Remember religious people hated Jesus, and True Christians are not religious, and worship God – not tradition…
I agree many evil things are done in the name of religious religion, they do NOT know Jesus as they do not obey Him…they have no Love for each other…you either know Him or you don’t…
Delevop a strong relationship with Him. Have a good heart and be kind and gracious to your enemies and pray for them.

Unfortunately, the church hardly represents “The Lord”. It is no longer a ‘body’, nor ‘of Christ’. “Many will come to Me at the end time saying didn’t we lay hands on the sick, and haven’t we cast out demons? And, I will say, away from me I never knew you.” We’re supposed to be of Love, not condemnation…and welcome everyone. Why would we need applications and training classes to become members?
