An Oregon woman discovered the hairiest secret yet to self-confidence: growing her beard out. Rose Geil, 39, spent her teen years trying to bust her beard, shaving her stubbly mug every day. “It was exhausting trying to keep it hidden,” she said. At one point, her mom took her to the doctor, who put her on birth control in an effort to stabilize hormones that may be triggering the hair growth.
She even invested in laser removal procedures, which can cost thousands of dollars to zap out the hairs, but her whiskers just kept coming back. “I was emotionally drained from trying to hide my beard every day and feeling like I was failing miserably,” Geil said. But about eight months ago, she ditched her razor — and sported a large beard in just six weeks. FULL REPORT
So this was posted because of the transexual bathroom thing, am i right? She’s a woman. She can come in the womans bathroom. Period. If a woman were to call the police on her and they found out she was a woman, well, natural consequence of growing your beard in a society that doesn’t permit it.
Ok I have a MAJOR issue with this story !! Myself I am a women who has been dealing with PCOS since i’ve been EIGHT years old, I suffer facial hair also ,but guess what I SHAVE/WAX/CREAM REMOVE it..
Facial hair isn’t supposed to be on a women, that is why we spend so much time,effort and money removing it.
This women is in fact making a laughing stock out of the real suffering the condition do bring into a womens life like higher risk of cancers, heart attack, constant pain, rupture life threatening cysts and the most heart breaking one of all is infertility or reacuring miscarriages, but no of course this women think she should be treated as a hero because she chooses NOT to shave her hair, this isn’t a badge of honor this is just mocking the real suffering because the next time someone who has read your story heres of a women with the same or simular medical condition they will think “oh the bearded womens condition” which do not make it any easier for us to be taken serious.
Fuck it let her embrace it, why are you judging? It your choice to shave or wax your facial hair. She just said forget it I’m like this so what???
Okay, first of all I find it a bit offensive to title put the caption Days of Noah and lot, when clearly she has some hormonal imbalance. I can see why she got tired of trying to hide it shaving sucks.
