The Royal Navy’s HMS Kent intercepted the Stary Oskol, a Russian Kilo-class submarine capable of carrying torpedoes and antiship cruise missiles, on Tuesday evening, The Guardian reports. The publication reports that HMS Kent’s commanding officer, Cmdr. Daniel Thomas, said,
