On Tuesday, he announced that he is gay. “I have tried not to be gay for more than 20 years of my life,” the 35-year-old told his fans in a letter. “I’ve tried my whole life to be straight. I married a girl, and I even have two beautiful little kids,” he wrote, explaining that his wife is now a good friend, and “if I keep trying to push this down it will end up hurting her even more.”
Coming out as gay may be career suicide for Pearson, notes Jonathan Merritt at Religion News Service. Several Christian artists have revealed themselves to be gay or lesbian in the past few years, he says, and “these musicians paid a hefty price. He don’t know God or the bible he is living by the flesh not the spirit. Which is against what being saved and born again is all about.
The Word of God is explicit on homosexuality, it is an abomination, a sin.
And Christ says in the New Testament:

read Romans, God is NOT ok with this. Think about the extensive psychological trauma suffered by his wife and kids. I hope she finds a real man fast.
Who told that there is no conflict…? You may be fighting by yourself for 20 years on your own, as how you presented it, but i think you’ve never surrendered to Christ really to fight for your battle that is why you are never released at all.
Good on you mate. You cannot love others until your love youself. So many people on here quoting bible verses and the like. I am not strong in scripture. But have always loved the lord. I struggled extensivley through growing up and discovering myself always hearing in my mind “no thats wrong”. I made up my mind that My saviour will love me no matter what. I am a gay man and i love that i am now OK with my mind and soul that previously clashed. I will forever love the lord and i ask others who condemn, belittle and judge others who have no right too, think about others and how they are feeling within themselves. Have some empathy and enjoy the people that God created. At the end of the day we WILL all be judged, by God alone. Christian means Christlike. You have to ask yourself would Jesus sleep with another man? Your identity is not in your sexuality, it’s hidden with Christ in God. If you’re going to practice a lifestyle of homosexuality, quit telling people you’re a Christian if you’re not going to accept your identity in Christ, but continue to practice a lifestyle that contradicts the Word of God. How you live your life as a Christian speaks volumes to others. If you practice a lifestyle that contradicts God’s Word, homosexuality, you’re teaching others that it’s okay, and God accepts it. It doesn’t change the fact that God loves you, but it does determine the outcome of your salvation. The biggest mistake that you’ve made is you live by your feelings, and not by true faith in God. If you’d live by faith, that desire to pursue homosexual relationships, God can and will deliver you, your choice.
