A man has been arrested over an online video that reportedly shows a dog making a Nazi salute. The 28-year-old, from Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire, faces hate crime charges over the video, Police Scotland said. The clip allegedly shows a pug sitting in front of a screen showing footage of Adolf Hitler and appearing to make Nazi salutes.
Officers said the video had been shared online and “caused offence and hurt to many people in our community”. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 28-year-old man was arrested on Thursday 28 April in relation to the alleged publication of offensive material online (improper use of electronic communications under the Communications Act 2003). It is official, the world at large is off it rocker and spinning like a top. Of course in my country who always borrows ideas from other countries and then set out to perfect it, the dog itself will be arrested and charged with racism or hate speech and probably sentenced to life catching rats. As far as I am concerned the Pug should from now on when it sits on its hind legs, instead of putting up the one paw, it must light up a cigar and talk to Al Capone. Then lets see if anyone wants to arrest it.
